Some of them tried to operate it on 230 volts mains supply.which malfunctioned DC LED driver circuit. Now i want to protect this 12 volt operating circuit from ac mains supply. I tried and failed !!! For 5 Volt operation, my resistor value of choice is 150 Ohms. For a red LED, the current is pretty close to 20 mA, but for a blue one, it is more like 10 mA.
